Rogue Eclipse Unlock Checklist Tracker
Claim it, tag it, equip it—stop losing rewards between runs.
This Unlock Checklist is a manual tracker for Rogue Eclipse rewards. The Steam demo already advertises multiple unlocks with customisation, and the full campaign promises more across its roguelike structure. Use the lists below as templates—rename rows to match in-game labels as you discover them, and keep philosophy aligned with unlock progression.
How to use the checklist
After every run:
- Claim rewards before relaunching.
- Tick the matching row or add a new one.
- Tag Power, Access, or Style.
- Equip at most one new Power item before the next sortie.
- Mirror the equipped plan in the loadout planner.
Demo baseline checklist
Copy this markdown into your notes and tick freely:
- Tutorial completed on chosen input (keyboard or gamepad)
- First full demo sortie survived past opening swarm (demo walkthrough)
- Difficulty option understood and set intentionally
- First Power unlock earned and tagged
- First Style customisation applied without confusing it for DPS
- One behemoth or capital-style encounter attempted after reading how to beat behemoths
- One intentional disengage practised using combat and survival
- Wishlist confirmed for August 7 full game (release date)
Power unlock table template
| Unlock name | Slot / role | Source run note | Equipped? | Result next run |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| (example) Handling tweak | Ship / mobility | Died to corridor walls | Yes | Fewer scrapes |
| (example) Clear primary | Weapon / swarm | Could not delete wings | Yes | Cleaner opening |
Add rows instead of overwriting when you retire a part—history teaches.
Access unlock template
| Unlock | What it opens | Practise goal |
|---|---|---|
| Higher difficulty tier | Tighter swarms | Keep routing rules under stress |
| New sector hazard awareness | Different geometry | Update behemoth notes |
Style unlock template
| Cosmetic | Applied to | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ship / HUD / other | Keep separate from Power ranks |
Weekly review prompts
- Which Power unlock changed a named death sentence?
- Which Style unlock did you equip only for joy?
- Did you finish Getting Started habits before chasing rarities?
- Does system requirements performance still hold after new effects?
Launch-day extension
On August 7, duplicate this page’s tables for full-campaign acts or regions once community names settle. Cross-link new rows to ship upgrades and weapon loadouts. Watch Updates for patch-altered reward paths and demo vs full game if transfer rules appear.
A checklist is only useful if you reopen it. Pin this tab beside Steam before the next “one more run.”
Example filled rows
| Unlock name | Tag | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Tutorial clear badge | Access | Confirms input choice settled |
| Early handling part | Power | Reduced wall deaths in corridors |
| Paint / decal pack | Style | Equipped after Power kit stable |
| Difficulty insight | Access | Raised one step after readable deaths |
Replace examples with your labels. The structure matters more than our placeholders.
Multi-week archival
At week end, snapshot your tables into a dated note: “Demo week 01.” After launch, start “Campaign week 01” instead of overwriting. Comparing weeks shows whether you are actually progressing or only collecting menu noise. Pair archives with loadout planner sheets so Power ticks have flight evidence.
Accountability without multiplayer
Share a redacted checklist with a friend who also demoed. Ask them which Power unlocks changed outcomes. Social pressure works even in single-player when it targets learning, not shame. Then return to Getting Started if both of you are still dying before minute one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers pilots ask before and after each run.
Why tag Power versus Style?
So cosmetics do not masquerade as solutions to mechanical deaths.
Can I rename rows?
Yes. Templates are starting points—match official names as you learn them.
Should I track failed unlock attempts?
Track earned rewards first; optional notes can capture near-misses if helpful.
Where do I plan the equipped loadout?
Use the Loadout Planner after ticking Power unlocks here.
